A Good Lock Only Works If It's Installed Right
A deadbolt that doesn’t fully extend, a strike plate held by short screws, or a smart lock that drains batteries because the bolt drags are all installation problems, not lock problems. YH Lock & Security installs residential and commercial locks in Las Vegas and fits them so they latch and lock every time.
We install the hardware you choose or recommend options for your door, from Kwikset and Schlage deadbolts to keypad locks, smart locks and high-security cylinders.

Single and double cylinder deadbolts. Keypad and smart locks with app or code access. Handle sets, levers and knob locks. High-security cylinders for extra resistance to picking and key copying. Commercial grade locks, mortise locks and exit devices for businesses.
New doors sometimes need fresh boring or a reinforced strike plate. We handle that as part of the installation so the lock sits properly and the door frame holds.
We also fit locks on sheds, gates, side yard doors and garage entry doors, which are often overlooked but easy ways into a home. For rental properties, keypad locks remove the need to hand over physical keys between tenants or guests, and the codes can be changed in minutes.

Smart Lock Installation
Thinking About a Smart Lock?
Smart locks let you skip keys, share codes with family or guests, and check the door from your phone. We install and set them up, and make sure the deadbolt runs freely so the motor isn’t fighting the door. Read more about the benefits of smart lock installation.

Installing New Locks vs. Rekeying
If your existing locks work and you only need to cut off old keys, rekeying costs less. If you want different hardware or better security, installation is the way to go. Replacing a failed lock? See lock change. For businesses, see commercial locks.

When choosing a deadbolt, look at the lock grade and the strike plate as well as the brand. A solid deadbolt fixed with long screws into the door frame stands up far better than a premium lock held on with short screws. We check the door, frame and alignment as part of every installation, so the new lock works the way it should from day one.
We can also match finishes across doors, so the new hardware looks consistent with the rest of the house.
